Curriculum

Park House Prep offers a dynamic curriculum combining academic excellence and immersive experiences. Aligned with the prestigious Cambridge curriculum, our approach ensures a globally recognised standard of education.
At Park House Prep, we believe in the power of specialist teaching. Our students benefit from dedicated language, sports, and music instructors who inspire and guide them to excel in these areas.
Our unique offering extends beyond the classroom. Children can access our private and exclusive farm school, nestled near the breathtaking Slimbridge Wetlands. They spend one day a week immersed in outdoor learning, which fosters a deep connection with nature and promotes holistic development.
Situated amidst lush greenery, Park House Prep provides a serene yet vibrant setting for learning. Nestled in the historic heart of Gloucester, our students enjoy the best of both worlds—surrounded by nature's beauty while being immersed in a rich cultural heritage.
Community engagement is integral to our ethos. We actively involve our students in the local community, using cultural offerings such as the library and museum. This ensures a well-rounded education beyond academics, nurturing socially conscious and culturally aware individuals.

Co-curricular activity list

Our curriculum provides students with a well-rounded education and prepares them for success in the modern world. We deliver core subjects—Maths, English, and Science—through the internationally acclaimed Cambridge Primary Curriculum. This enables us to maintain rigorous self-review against externally set benchmarks. The scheme of work for other subjects is informed by the English national and Cambridge Primary Curriculum but is additionally shaped by the unique learning environment available to the Park House Prep school, for example Farm School.
